Duties

Responsible for support and service of all PC and MAC Workstations throughout the school board. Tasks include troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues, workstation setup, printer installation, E-Mail, Hardware, Operating Systems, Viruses, and Malware/Spyware removal.

- Piloted the NetSupport School initiative throughout all high schools within the school board.

Duties
- To provide clear and concise technical expertise via the telephone with respect to all consumer electronics products sold by the company on the Internet. Applications for these products range from commercial environments such as government installations, digital signage, houses of worship, educational institutions, resellers, installers, restaurants, pubs, and boardrooms to personal home theater setup.
- Responsible for the in-company computer network, maintenance and troubleshooting of all PC, Server, Mail and LAN issues. Setup new users and systems as required and resolved all LAN/Internet problems as necessary.
- Responsible for all GSA sales and support to all branches of the United States Government, which involved active sourcing of bids and tenders, as well as negotiating best prices with distribution and the manufacturers.
- Wrote content for affiliate sites HDTV.ca and Projector.com under the pseudonym Samantha Claire.
Initiatives
- Designed and setup the in-company computer network with Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Microsoft Exchange Server 2000. Implemented Outlook 2000/2003 as the client to Exchange and also allowed for file sharing and security over the LAN.
- Successfully obtained three General Service Administration (GSA) Contracts for the company, and raised U.S. Government sales to $5,000,000 within three years of obtaining first contract.
- Created and designed video projector replacement lamp cross reference matrix database as a means to secure a recurring revenue stream for the company.
- Processed and verified all customer orders in addition to my regular duties from August – October 2004 due to staff shortage within the Order Department.
